From the HOME Menu, select the icon for the software you wish to update without starting the game or application.

Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the internet.

Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo Switch console is connected to the internet. On May 25, 2023, a new software update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom became available for download. If there is not enough system memory or microSD card storage to download the update, you will first need to expand or free up memory space and then follow the steps below.

The update will download and install automatically if the system is connected to the internet and the Auto-Update Software setting is enabled.

Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.

There are so many people who have contributed to Ooblets and we can’t thank them enough. Thank you to everyone who has played the game in early access or waited patiently for 1.0/Switch. We think up new and progressively goofier stuff to add to the game every day. And don’t worry, we’re not done working on the game! Besides bugfix patches, we’re still planning on adding more content going forward.

We’ve been working on Ooblets for the last six years and it’s so exciting to finally reach this milestone.

There are new places to visit, a conclusion to the main storyline, massive balancing changes, new customization stuff, and so much more.
